An explosive compound developed by the GCN for use in engines and offensive systems. It is made from Nitroglycerine, Nitrous Oxide and Propylene. Nitroxylene is stable in air, even at high temperatures, and unlike Nitroglycerine, it does not pose a risk if disturbed by vibrations. However, the application of a strong enough electric current causes Nitroxylene to explode violently. A pound of Nitroxylene gel has three times the explosive power of a pound of C4.
Any Nitroxylene gel that does not get used up in the initial explosion will usually continue to burn at a slower rate until most of the gel is used up).
