This Cyclops is a stealthy War Drone designed to be invisible to radar, even Super Radar. Under normal conditions, it emits no radar of its own, and flies "blind". It relies on information from other drones, or from satellites, to guide it and to detect distant enemies. Its radar is only used after it has cleared itself of any known danger. Even so, the Cyclops is very sensitive to anything within a certain radius. Its passive sensory equipment is sensitive enough to detect a sparrow within a 1/4 mile of its own location.

History[]

Stealth[]

The Cyclops is shaped in a way that avoids reflecting any radar beams back to the source, but it is also built from classified materials that absorb most of the radar that hits them. Super Radar scans are deflected around the body of the ship and produce a minimal signature. Even its engines intakes and exhausts are coated with materials that absorb radar. To minimize the possibility of being detected by heat emissions, the Cyclops uses a unique system of propulsion that emits relatively cool air and runs purely on water vapour, Nitrogen, and Oxygen from the air.

The Cyclops has a visual cloaking ability that allows it to appear largely invisible to the naked eye even at close range.

Propulsion and Energy System[]

The unique propulsion system of the Cyclops is built to run solely on what already exists in the air. It uses no Carbon compounds, but instead relies on water, Nitrogen, and Oxygen, and gets electricity from sunlight where possible, using two plates below the Cannons on either side of the drone. Exactly how these systems work is classified, but it is known that the Cyclops can reach (and exceed) speeds of Mach 3.3 without using its nuclear drive.

Critical systems, as well as the engine itself (during night flights), get their electricity from the nuclear drive.
